Lowestoft Beach offers a variety of amenities catering to diverse interests. From crazy golf to the East Point Pavilion, home to the Lowestoft Tourist Information Centre and Mayhem Adventure Play, visitors are spoiled for choice. The beachfront is adorned with restaurants, takeaways, and amusements, while The Royal Plain, adjacent to The East Pavilion, hosts a comprehensive events program throughout the year.

For those seeking an active adventure, cycling the seafront promenade to Ness Point awaits—an exhilarating journey to the most easterly point in the UK. This route is part of the North Sea Cycle Network

Beach Wheelchair

East Suffolk Council have Beach Wheelchairs available for hire all year round. There is no charge for hire. Booking in advance required and conditions of use apply. To book or to request further details, contact beach.wheelchairs@eastsuffolk.gov.uk or Telephone: 01502 586167

Dog Restrictions

It's important to note that dogs are not allowed from May 1st to September 30th.

Toilet Facilities

Public toilets are available at Royal Plain East Point Pavilion, with baby changing and disabled facilities. They are open 9am-8pm Easter to October and 9am-5pm October to Easter.

Car Parking

Numerous parking solutions are available within walking distance of the beach. The closest option, Royal Green (NR33 0QL), and Belvedere Road (NR33 0PR), both operate on a pay-and-display basis, providing convenient parking choices for visitors.

Lifeguard Patrol
