Nestled within the Coastguard Cottages, a cafe offers a scenic vantage point with views south to the Minsmere Marshes, north to Southwold, and across the North Sea. While non-National Trust members incur parking charges, the spacious car park ensures ample space. Dogs are warmly welcomed to join the coastal adventure.
There are no dog restrictions on the beach itself and dogs are allowed all year round. However please be mindful of seals and birds. There are dog restrictions in the Heath - From 1 March - 31 August, all dogs must be kept on a lead and must stick to the footpaths.
Toilets and baby changing facilities are conveniently available by the car park, accessible toilet with RADAR Key - own key essential.
A National Trust car park, located not far from the beach (Postcode: IP17 3DQ), offers ample parking space. The car park operates from 9 am to 4 pm and is locked outside of these times. While National Trust members enjoy free parking, non-members are required to pay for this convenience.
There are no lifeguard patrols at this beach, so caution is advised while bathing or swimming.
